Children's Ministry

We believe that all children are made in the image of God and can be leaders. Children are often overlooked or pushed aside, but at Grace Chapel, we take Christ's words seriously when he said, "Unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3) Therefore, we endeavor to place children high on our priority list, not only to care for them and make church fun, but to learn from their leadership.

Nursery

(Birth – Pre-K)

9:15am – 12:00pm (Sunday)

During both worship services, this is a place where your younger kids can go and be loved on by our nursery staff.

Please label any diaper bags, bottles, and sippy cups.

Children's Chapel

(K-5th Grade)

Midway through worship, K-5th grade children will head out for their own lesson and time of fun! We use an incredible program called "A Time for Children" which is built upon the belief that all children are a blessing and have sacred worth. We let the children share what God means to them instead of always telling them what to believe. Sometimes the most powerful witness comes from the youngest in our community.

We do not have Children's Chapel on Communion Sundays. On these days, our children worship with us the entire time, reminding us that we are all one body of Christ together, regardless of age.

Camp Bible

September 21-22 @Bridgeport Camp

Children grades 3-5 will head to Bridgeport Camp this September with other United Methodist churches from around our conference for 24 hours of games, worship, and learning about the love of God!

If you have questions, email Pastor Emma.
